Earthstays & Sustonica
Get your vacation rentals listed on Earthstays and display your Sustonica badge.

Earthstays is a listing site for UK holiday rentals that allows you to link to your own website. Claim your free listing until the end of 2023.

How it works

Earthstays is a dedicated online platform that exclusively lists properties with a strong focus on sustainability, the environment, nature, and well-being. To be eligible for a complimentary listing on their website, properties must possess eco-credentials, and by having your Sustonica badge, you will automatically qualify.

Listing your UK holiday rental on Earthstays in 2023 comes at no cost, and they do not charge any commissions on bookings. Enjoy the convenience of having your iCal integrated to display accurate calendars, and expect direct inquiries through a link to your website.

Earthstays accommodates a diverse range of properties, including glamping pods, campsites, yurts, shepherds huts, tree houses, boats, buses, and bell tents. However, it’s important to note that the Sustonica certification, which ensures Earthstays eco-credentials, is currently limited to holiday cottages, lodges, and city apartments/townhouses.

Booking.com Sustainable Travel Report 2023
"Traveling more sustainably continues to be front of mind for travellers", says Booking.com

As sustainability becomes an increasingly important consideration for travelers, online travel agents (OTAs) and property managers have an important role to play in promoting responsible and eco-friendly vacation rentals.

"We are encouraged by the number of our accommodation partners that are taking steps to operate more sustainably, but there is more work to be done to make it easier for travellers to find and book more sustainable options across the entire travel experience." says Glenn Fogel, CEO of Booking.com.
